We collect the email address and display name you provide when you create an account, the Word manuscripts you upload, and the reading progress and theme or font-size preferences you set while using the e-reader. We do not collect payment information because the service is currently free.

We use your information to run the service: convert and display your manuscripts, remember where you left off in a book, apply your preferred reader theme and font size, and share works only with the readers you specifically invite. We do not sell, rent, or license your personal information or manuscripts to anyone.
How we store and protect it
Your account data and manuscripts are stored in encrypted cloud databases and object storage. Access to uploaded works is controlled so that only you, and the readers you invite, can view them. We use standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access.
Sharing your work
When you invite a reader by email, we create an invitation that allows that person to access the specific work you shared. We do not make your work searchable, public, or visible to anyone outside your invited readers. You can revoke an invitation at any time.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in and to remember local reader settings while the page loads. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party marketing cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account and manuscripts for as long as your account is active. When you delete a work, the manuscript, chapters, invitations, reader records, and associated progress are permanently removed. If you delete your account, your personal data and works are removed in accordance with our deletion practices.
Your rights
You can update your display name and email-related preferences in your account settings. You can delete works at any time. If you need help accessing, correcting, or deleting your data, contact us through the support channel listed on the site.
